Joao da Maia Jorge is cofounder and CEO of boomApp, a unique technology that enables video recognition from a simple photo taken providing results under 5 seconds. Before founding boomApp, Joao was CEO and cofounder of the startup adfamilies, another unique platform enabling users to sign up, invite friends and rate ads and earn from reviewing these. He spent over three years managing and overviewing all the various business development of adfamilies and increasing its revenue streams. He has a Masters degree in Business Sciences and taught himself how to code. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked in several multinational companies such as Renault, Deloitte and Santander Bank, with a focus on marketing, sales and investment consultancy.
