Frank Steinicke is professor for Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Hamburg in Germany. His research is driven by understanding the human perceptual, cognitive and motor abilities as well as limitations in order to reform the interaction and experience in computer-mediated realities. Frank regularly serves as panelist and speaker at major events in the area of virtual reality, 3D user interfaces, spatial interaction and human-computer interaction. He is on the program committee of various international scientific conferences and currently program chair of IEEE VR, which is most renowned scientific event in the area of virtual reality.
